BarCampBrighton is proud to announce the continued support of Madgex, who kindly hosted the first BarCampBrighton in their offices.
In addition to buying you your Sunday lunch, they’ll also be providing access to the rather fabulous backnetwork once again. Thanks guys, it’s great to have more local support!

We’ve stubbed out the Eventwax site, but don’t worry, we haven’t opened ticketing yet. Last time, the entire ticket allocation disappeared in under half an hour, and this time we want to make it a bit less of a scrum.
We’ll be releasing tickets in tranches throughout February. Some of these tranches will be publicly advertised and some will be distributed by associated groups (e.g. Brighton Geek Girls, the BCS, and Sussex Uni). We’ll roll the un-used and returned tickets into a final public allocation in mid-to-late February.

The pizza on Saturday night is courtesy of those super chaps at e-consultancy. Yay for pizza! In return for the cheesey goodness, we’ve cut them a deal…
e-consultancy are looking for a really excellent Ruby on Rails developer. They’re an award-winning online publisher with tens of thousands of customers and a ton of data.
They’re doing a lot of resource-oriented, model-heavy, has_many_polymorphs STI-based development. If you know your Rails onions then they’d love to meet you. Why not drop them a line?

The lovely people at Yahoo! Developer Network are BarCampBrighton’s beer sponsor. I’m sure a pint or two of USSU‘s finest will help get those Werewolf games off to a flying start…

We’re really pleased to announce our first sponsor: Aral Balkan and Singularity 08 will be buying you breakfast on Sat 15th March.
We’re also pleased to be able to confirm that we’re upping the numbers from BarCampBrighton1 to 150 attendees this time.
We’ll be releasing tickets in tranches to give everyone a chance at getting one, and we’ll specifically be reserving some for people who haven’t attended a BarCampBrighton or BarCampLondon before.
